Karnataka HC Questions Rise in MBBS Seats After Counselling Begins

The Karnataka High Court has asked the authorities to explain why MBBS seats were increased after the counselling process had already started. The court noted that such changes can affect merit and fairness for thousands of students. It has asked the State to present full details of when the seats were added and on what basis. The judges said transparency is important in admission processes and any sudden change must be justified. The matter will be reviewed again after the government submits its report.
